I live in Indiana and Netherlands, and can buy Zebralight locally in both places
I got a 18650 Mk IV Zebralight. While good in high modes the PWM on low is awful. So I don’t really trust Zebra for low output lights.

Strange, I have 5 of their 18650 lights, and never noticed PWM in any mode on any of them.
Sounds like you already know what you need

You got that wrong sir!
I bought several because I don’t know :person_facepalming:
If you have a light that is close to what you need (in terms of beam profile), maybe use DC-fix.
A self adhesive film that diffuses the beam. (even sold here at blf, sorry can’t find the link)
Are there AA only lights? If yes would they have any advantage over a 14500/AA light assuming I only want to use AA cells.
Same question,but 14500.
Olight S1A.
Nitecore LA10. No memory though, but pure flood. And it’s got a magnet in its tail. I love mine a lot.

That’s an unique light with that diffuser.
Even an high CRI version, but that has a greatly reduced runtime.
Is high CRI noticeable/effective with, what looks a heavily, frosted diffuser?
