Video Review: LightsCastle 2-pack Red LED Taillight or Fork Light

Ok, so this is video number 2 of 3- made of a few things Crystal at LightsCastle sent to me for review. Much like the other video review this is an objective review and demonstration of operation and installation of these super cheap bike lights. These are sort of different in that you can mount them on your front forks so someone might see you on a sidestreet at night.

These are actually very useful as supplemental lights, in an area of the bike that might not normally use them- but also a place that makes a whole lot of sense.

These lights ran for about 26 hours on two CR2032 batteries with some juice to spare. At about 12 hours the light output was probably 50 to 60% of brightness that fresh batteries provided. I used the “solid on (or 3rd)” mode, for these tests so I’d estimate that the blinking modes would provided much more runtime. At 26 hours… well you probably needed to replace the batteries 10 hours ago, because you’ve lost about 80% of the original brightness.

No tools required for installation or battery change. These lights are simple, cheap, and durable.
