Hey there BLF! Got a review, hot of the edit bay. This is for the up recently upgraded MH20… now with a new emitter, slightly larger reflector, and smoother machining. It bumps the overall output up over 100 lumens more, and it nearly triples the candela. Check out this comparison video between the MH20GT, and regular MH20. And if you get a few minutes, check out my old MH20 review. And a note regarding the tint section… it’s harder to tell in the video than with my eyes, but the MH20GT is not as cool a tinted light as the MH20. It’s slightly cooler than daylight but not near as cool as an XML2 U3. Anyway, hope you like the review. Oh yeah, Nitecore sent me this for review and testing.
Great review!
That reflector on the new G2 is definitely an improvement. Looks darn good. More light gettin outa there.
You looked like a carpet burglar in that warehouse?..LOL.
That surely wasn’t your barn out back. ![]()

I can’t believe you trashed the inside of your house just for a change of scenery! ![]()
Another nice review, thanks for the video.
It was in an empty room near a place where I work. It’s “storage.” Thanks man!

I got a kick out of the video at 32 seconds in. Not sure WHY it happened but I got a laugh out of it! I seriously doubt anyone else would comment on that ![]()
I cried when I saw the Nitecore box falling down. It is a portent of things to come. ;)
It was super windy that day, and I was getting aggravated. When I reviewed the footage days later, I looked at it again and thought it was kind of funny. Thanks!
Maybe keengeorge is right… It’s a terrible omen!!
I enjoyed this review. Keep it up!

Looks like you have your review up too, nice! Thanks man!
I just received a unit after reading so many good review.
Not sure if this is the thread to post this question. It seems the circle at the back of the metal tube holding the battery is not even. On the thicker side, it measures 1.17mm. However, on the thinner end, it measures 0.57mm. The thinner side is only half the thickness of the thickest side. Is this normal or just a quality issue of this unit? Otherwise, it works pretty well.

QC is really poor. ![]()
