Want to buy my first multi emitter light

Ok, update for anyone who is interested:

Received that SKyray King (4 XML T6) from ebay. It was 4,71€ + 4,99e shipping. So still under 10€. I don´t know how good/bright the really good SKRs are, but this one is MUCH brighter than my L2m with XML2 and the Trustfire 3T6 (which is barely brighter than the L2m).

Happy me!

I only got cheap 18650s. Can the brightness of a light go up with betetr quality batteries? Anyway, can you recommend good “budgety” 18650s?

“good” and “budget” 18650 don’t necessarily fit - I would recommend Samsung or Keeppower. Germany should be on the list of countries with free shipping from i.e. Gearbest.

Most of those SRK’s are putting out around ~1000-1500 lumens on a good day.

Yes, high drain batteries will help it.

The Samsung 18650 are not labeled “Samsung” on Gearbest, are they?

What a nice price! And if you are happy even better
Should it fail plenty of drivers available and even I could reflow new LEDs on it

Are these ok?

edit: They are unprotected. I think I want protected ones…

Any recommendation is highly appreciated!

Get 30Qs for unprotected and some high capacity 3400 for protected

Those batteries (Samsung 26F) are good cells, though not the highest level performance or capacity. I keep some around just for lights to loan out or other things. The protected versions are very cheap as well.

Don’t get the protected cell if you really want to impress friends
Lg HG2 is a good choice

HG2’s are great cells but way to risky with all the fakes floating around IMHO.

+1

I recommend Samsung 30q not nearly as faked. And actually hold up better from my experience. I have 6 30q and 4 hg2. The hg2 and 30 both hit right at high 2970-3100 right out the package. I have about 50 cycles roughly on the hg2 and over 100+ easy on Samsung 30q. And the Samsung’s still hit 2850+ at 1 amp discharge test.
Some of the hg2 are down to 2700. But in the lg spec sheet they kind of are sneaky they get the 3000mah rating by discharging down to 2.0 volt not 2.5 like 30q and most manufacturers.

Ok guys, thanks so far. Let´s make it easy for me : D
Can anybody give me a link to buy from (I need 4).
