Me too I don’t think I have even seen a picture of a Phatt Charger for 26650 Battery.
Of course 18650’s will work fine -but are there good brands of 26650’s and what are the capacities of better ones ?

I use Keeppower IMR 26650 - 5200mAh, 15A, 3,6V - 3,7V and they are fine!

No, as want to use Unprotected cells like the 30Q if want the highest possible Lumens. 
Because AFAIK it uses the same driver as the BLF X5/X6 lights (maybe with minor changes), together with TK's SUPERB Bistro firmware.

Yep. I understand there are 2 review samples and you can read a reviw linked in the first post
suggest looking at the picsthen translate (because that gave me 1 block of text and messed up the layout.)
The final samples haven’t even arrived yet it seems, and depending on if they are working as they should or not, I’m guessing we’re at least a few weeks from production even starting (unless they start before the samples have been accepted, which wouldn’t be the first time I think), so we’ll be over 500 well ahead of that I guess.
Keep us posted on this aspect. I don’t want to reward bad behavior.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that since we will invariably arrive at the goal of 500, that maybe the processes would already begin.
It is my understanding 500 are needed, but I am not organizing this
