Weapon mounting my Sipik SK68 clone

I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I’m no better at getting food into my mouth than the average two year old.
Popcorn, chips, dry roasted peanuts, even soup if it’s the chunky kind, is as likely to end up on the flood around my computer desk or couch as it is to end up in my mouth.
In order to clean up the war zone after some time spent surfing the internet or watching movies I bought a cheap stick vacuum cleaner.
It’s pretty handy and saves dragging out my full size vac, it’s quieter too. The one problem is that it’s always dark under my desk and even around my couch.
Like most of you I had an old Sipik SK68 clone sitting around not being used, and I had a bright idea.
I think this clamp or bracket, what ever you call it, was one I had to mount a Mini Maglite to a 12 ga shotgun, but I was able to adapt it using a tightly rolled paper shim.
Now I can suck up the mess before heading to bed without turning on extra lights or making more noise than necessary.

I'm scared of weapons. Especially ones that make dust.

Should have one on my 1950s vaccum cleaners.

Love that beamshot… Looks like a perfect pattern in that application. Maybe needs a mod to a UV emitters so you can see what’s in the carpet better…

Came expecting a thread full of scoff and derision. Leaving with a smile.

Good luck hunting those dust bunnies.

I assure you I’ve been well trained it this weapons proper use and know how to handle it safely.

I suppose with the proper adapter it could be fitted to a full sized vac. I can tell you it really does make vacuuming easier for someone like me who’s eyes are getting older.

I hadn’t thought of it but I suppose that might help. The beam of this cheapo light makes everything look flat, and ugly. It’s a light I bought off Amazon before I joined BLF and learned that not all emitters are created equal.

I never thought of that, I probably should have titled this thread something less controversial.
