After reading this review, http://jtice.com/review/lights/olight_sr51/ I just had to have one. I have been craving this light for awhile. I consider it my late birthday gift to myself. It feels good to finally get the withdrawals of the addiction of wanting this light over with. Now I have to decide what will be my next one. Leaning toward the Sunwayman T40CS.
And I am still liking the Sunwayman V60.

Thanks. I will. You know you are serious about flashlights when you buy one that has its own aluminum case. Heck even some pistols don't get that honor.
Does any non-custom pistol come in al case? Even high-end STI:s come in pityful plastic box.
That light... seems powerful... and fugly...
Most pistols nowadays do get a case. But read what I said. Some pistols. My first and only pistol was bought over 27yrs ago. No case.
And I hope fugly don't mean ugly to you. That light is for from ugly. Actually it's one of the best deals in it's class for what you get for the money paid and quality received. The rectangular knurling sets it apart from most lights.

"Some pistols don't get (aluminium case)" suggests that most get it and some minority doesn't, I suppose. And to my experience most pistols come in plastic or even cardboard box, only some very high end custom items come with aluminium case as standard. But that's really not the topic here..
I totally agree that that light has very good quality and it is propably one of the best lights in it's class. But it still looks ugly as hell to me.
Thanks Tim. I got a great deal on that package. That's why I bought it. I think the next one I buy from Andy will be a Sunwayman V60 or T40CS. But one way or the other I plan on owning them both.
haha...when i'm expecting an overseas package, I check the mail daily (it's a community box at the front of the complex).
