For that money you can’t go wrong have bought a set on DX many years ago when they were called DealExtreme only and that has the most bizarre bits like triangular etc etc and a lot as well. Do not use it often but when needed I am happy to have it.

Then I have a set similar to what you now show and that gets a lot of use

Most I use my mannesmann bit set, the bits are not for precise work though some will do, this is more for real DIY work. It had 25 years warranty and I bought it when doing some serious work at home and cheap bits were failing. Got it 14 years ago and all bits still work like a charm.
The rest of the mannesmann tools are rubbish after the very nice quality bit set I thought wow this must be a quality brand and while browsing for drills they were not expensive so I ordered three different drills (a normal, 1 with stand for precise drilling and on of those heavy duty for demolition work. The normal twist to open and close front is now crooked and it won’t go to hammer, the precise one is vibrating to much to actually be able to drill precisely though the stand works (using the normal in it) and the hammer does bkt turn only hammers after drilling.two holes in concrete and all the bits they put in the cases are absolute rubbish)

You get what you pay for, unless you steal them.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

It only takes a few stubborn screws to damage cheap bit’s.

Remember magnets and electronics don’t always play well together.
I suggest Whia.
Buy once, cry once!

Dang, they don sell my set anymore, the new ones only have 10 year warranty and look much less
well happy to have mine though

yeah I would avoid this tool set!
the driver handle is made from old cheese :disappointed:

Lowes has had fairly decent sets under the Kobalt branding on sale for a couple of bux more.
the handle is the thing I look at on these magnetic sets, the bits will be OK to get by.
clearly at 3-5 USD price point yer not really after the “best”. :money_mouth_face:

Bought that exact thing a few years ago.
It’s flimsy, imprecise, and the tools bend very easily.
It was worth the $3 or so it cost, but you have to assume you’ll replace any bit you use frequently with a good one later.
