I see these posts with just “reserved” in them from time to time. Latest time in this thread (two reserved posts): bushwhackeds entry (BLF 2nd annual scratch made light contest)
What is the purpose of them?
leserved
To hold them for later use.
I hope this helps.
Some posts are meant to be ongoing records of a build project. To avoid re-editing the opening post, which can quickly get very large , a lot of people prefer to reserve the top few posts of the thread for future editting and updating with their progress, just to keep it altogether at the top of the thread.
Some forums don't allow much information to be included in each post, so additional posts may be reserved in anticipation of adding much more information later, or just for organization to aid with linking to a certain part of a lengthy review.
Makes sense. Thanks!
Especially if you do a long post, where you may want to add more information later, it makes it much easier reserving a post or two. This way you do not have to edit the long post when adding information.
Those long posts have a way of getting the formatting corrupted when editing. Very frustrating!!
That’s what I was going to mention.
