Micarta Monday with a slightly modified Kizer Agressor.
Which light/model is that? I know it, but I’m drawing a blank at the moment. I really dig the (cyan?) glow ring on it!
Here’s a few pictures from today, and yes I was carrying both. One is my do all, and the other is my do less… only because I just picked it up and haven’t yet had the opportunity to put it in rotation. But I’ll tell you what, it is a very nice knife, and well on its way to being my favorite.
I’ve never made a folder before, but if I made one for myself - the Inkosi would be the result. It feels like it was made for my hands, the connection was immediate, and the balance is spot on.
That’s an Nlightd L2 from Neal’s Gadgets, new 14500 LEP. Pure pocket fun…
That Inkosi is beautiful! I’ve held a Sebenza 31 - one day I’ll own one. CRK makes timeless designs.
Is the Large Inkosi Insingo that you have the Magnacut blade. I saw some with (I think) S45vn.
Nice knife BTW. A little rich for me right now, but very nice!
Tanto Tuesday with this Kubey Dugu in 14C28N, a Sun Grown Undercrown, a cheap jet lighter that has lasted years longer than I expected, and french press in one of my favorite mugs…
I got this little Hogue Deka in Magnacut a couple of days ago. It took some tweaking of the pivot screws, some nano lube and some working time, but now the action is good. I like it, nice and light. My first Magnacut blade. I will be testing for edge retention and sharpening over the next weeks.
Trying to beat the heat. Lost power for a while but luckily got an iced on the way home.
Carried this MBK EZC and a modified TwoSun tool today.
While not as cool as the critter @Fallblau found, this little inch worm seemed confused at being on a downed branch after the storm.
That is a really nice looking knife!
Is that a second black timekeeper on the desk ? Wow very cool !
yeah, I have three timekeepers, 2 red, 1 black.
Feist Friday!
My newest one, from Father’s Day - Spyderco Stretch 2 in K390… I did a mild forced patina on the blade with about 6 hours in plain white vinegar and have tried out my new .5μm diamond stropping paste on it. It’s now the sharpest I’ve ever made a knife in over 10 years of sharpening.
Dragonfly with Flytanium again…
