Stanley li-ion battery booster
I saw it in the Menards ad for $20 after $10 rebate. Possibly 18650s in a 4s/2p setup? IMR?
I couldn’t find any info on it from Stanley’s website.

If I had to guess a 4S pack of kony cells. (IMR) Of course there is only one way to find out. :D
What is a ‘kony’ cell?
I am thinking it has to be a 4s configuration, but 1p or 2p?
I have seen these at Canadian tire and wondered what was in it. I suspected a Lipo pack myself. (They were a lot more $ as well)
I wonder if they really put an SLA in there and claim li-ion. Li-ion packs would normally state between 10.8V-12.6V for 3s, or 14.4V-16.8V for 4s.
Also it’s quite heavy at 1.5lbs / 680g. Three 18560 would only be 120g, four being 160g. The rest of pack is plastic - doubt that would weight 1/2kg.
Alright, I took one for the team! Inside is a battery pack containing 6 18650s (6s1p). It is shrink wrapped, so I have not seen the actual cells but printed on the shrink wrap is:
KANYO 18650-1P6S 2000mAh
22.2V 44.4Wh MH47359
110926 MADE IN CHINA
No, that is not a mis-spelling. It actually does say KANYO. So the question is…Does anyone have any experiance with Kanyo cells?
Wow, 6s, never thought they’d put that many. That’s $3.33 per 2Ah cell, not bad.
Never heard of Kanyo though.
