What charger with great User Interface

I need to change the Gyrfalcon S8000 I find it hard to change the battery setting when I need to use it, once every few months.
Maybe if I used it more frequently it wont be an issue as I wont forget to navigate the menu.

I have NIMH Eneloop AA,AAA, and two 18650 for two flashlights. The main reason I got the S8000 was for the ability to charge 1.5v but have not purchase 1.5v batteries yet for a smart lock.

Considering if the UI is easy to navigate:
Opus C3100 v2.2 - from what I can read a good overall charger not sure of the UI
ISDT C4 Evo - seem like a great feature charger and look smallish
SKyRC 3000,5000 - they both also with good features not sure which is easier to use.

Thanks!

Here’s a great video showing the ui and settings of the MC5000: https://youtu.be/TpUEXi50d5A

I have one if you have any other questions.

Do you have the latest FW installed on your S8000? That FW version, 3.0.66 introduced “Simple Mode” for charging - and it does not get much simpler than simple mode. I would check that out if you don’t have it - before spending any more money.

@Northman that does look extremely easy to use cant imagine something much simpler than that. Thanks.

@epictetus probably not, I have the one they shipped with it I got it last year. I guess I could give that a try, but it seem I have to check the manual just to get going. Great charger just not for my use case as I dont use it frequently. Thanks.

In Simple Mode, as introduced in the latest FW, the S8000 is as easy or easier to use than simple-only chargers even if you only use it infrequently. Upgrading the FW is pretty easy too.

I just looked it have 3.0.29

I see the options for UI mode:
Profesional, Normal(break in), Normal(storage)

Is in Profesional.

I would try to update the firmware later on.
Thanks!
