What Flashlight do you prefer in your mouth?

my EDC atm is an RRT-01, it was in my mouth briefly a moment ago, while I got some printer paper out of the closet

my copper maratac is more comfortable, but I have not been carrying it lately

fwiw, copper is antimicrobial , so after being in your mouth, it sterilizes itself in about 90 minutes

in india, copper jugs store water overnight, which kills the e coli and giardia in contaminated water, and prevents dysentery

Ive been using a copper cup to drink water from for several years, Im almost never sick

Copper touch surfaces in hospitals also reduce the spread of MRSA .

most if not all my AAA and CR123 flashlights have been in my mouth occasionally… the HDS is the heaviest, almost a quarter pound…

more often I tuck a light under my hat, or clip it to the bill of a cap

thorfire tk05 or tk18
lumintop tool AAA
astrolux S1 (short version)
Anything AAA AA or 16340

Glad to see most of us admit to using the flashlight in the mouth when needed.

Forgot how easy the Manker LAD is to mouth.
I usually curl my lips in and hold it that way, seems to have less of a drool problem.

Just had to re tighten those little flags on the hot water heater timer a few minuted ago and yep, mouthed a Zanflare F3, worked great.

Nitecore TIP 2017, by using the clip it brings! It is my most used “mouth-light”!
Recently, the Sofin C01 at night, before bed!

Lumintop Tool Ti or BLF A6 depending on how much light I need.

S mini ti

Astrolux A01, and that one can fit in your nostril too.

Please, people! Think of your poor old teeth. Enamel vs. metal is not a fair fight.

Treat yourselves to a headlamp or a cap with a brim you can clip onto.

I was trying to give this exact answer, i love my H03 i picked up recently. It’s seen already more use than any single light of my collection

The Nitecore Tube has been the best in my experience. Very thin and lightweight to reduce jaw fatigue, and plastic being softer than metal is not as bad for your teeth.

But a headlamp is better. They’re not expensive, people.

Last one was a Sofirn C01 today, but I had a Mateminco X6S in my mouth yesterday to sort out some dark coloured clothes.

I always think of that incident with the P60 light a few years ago though when I put a li-ion light in my mouth, it never feels comfortable but I keep doing it.

Are you referring to someone else’s incident, or did you experience that yourself?

Dude,
That’s funny.
Now we want to see you using TWO A01’s one in each nostril!
Would probably put out a nice beam pattern.

Thanks for the laugh and the visual.

No, it did not happen to me fortunately, someone in America, the story was a newspaper article that was heavily discussed on BLF, and probably CPF, but essential details that would clarify what exactly happened was missing in the article. It was said that he was a member of CPF.

NONE, I would not put any those bacteria, virus, disease prone tool in my mouth. The release of headlamps are the solution.

Freelux Synergy, or RRT-01 at least daily.

That’s great but also very funny!

We should take a pole on what’s the best tasting light out there! Copper, SS, Ti, aluminum or whatever and also weigh what our mouths can handle.

Sofirn SP10…after getting one, found that it worked for tight places…Used to use 18650s A6, etc, but they were always a handful

The taste is not that appealing, but the result is…

None!

“Professor Kettleburn, our Care of Magical Creatures teacher, retired at the end of last year in order to enjoy more time with his remaining limbs.”

This quote from “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” summarizes my feelings towards my old teeth.
I am worried about what the light will do to my teeth if I have to make a sudden movement with my head.

Factor Equipment Mizpah 130. It’s also my hands-free hat brim light. 1AAA and only 30g with battery.
