Wanted a single battery XML in something bigger than a straight 1" tube and under 6" long. Not a big fan of the square club head look and 30% wider head was about right. Styling is different and I don't hate it. Decent reviews of user comfort. They also said it will take P60 drop-ins if upgrade wanted later.
AND seemed like a nice package deal.
Am extremely happy with a TF TT-FL03 package off Amazon and if the quality of this is anywhere near as good I'll be very happy. The TF only took a few days, not looking forward to a long wait.

I'll do the broken record thing again: For something like the DRY or Skyray King, USE EMS! It's worth the extra. Both Kings came to me in a week from CNQG, and with both shippings added, still much less than one Nitecore. Worth it to me!
MXDL SA-76 from easylightbuy. I had an order placed for another light, but their inventory ran out. Their CS gal contacted me in 2-3 days and I switched my order rather than ask for a refund. I wanted a large/deep reflector XML, single 18650 that I could cigar hold and easily grasp on cold nights for my nightly 4-5 mile jog.
The intent here is to try and replace my Surefire 6P / Malkoff M60 - 18650 mod setup. I like the Malkoff setup, but at 210 XRE-Q5 Lumens its starting to show its age a little. So the MXDL has some big shoes to try and fill. The MXDL "brand" has been around for probably almost a decade. I have been a CPF member since 2005 and since that time MXDL has been a consistent presence on the budget light area. I remember scouring through the CPF Bessiebenny threads and reading about MXDL lights all the time. We dont hear too much about them anymore,(maybe theres good reason for that...?? we shall see) So I wanted to give it a shot.

Why? i have been reading so much good about the king but at first i just did not like the color and shape. But since it came up again and again and i got to see it again and again, the design actually grew on me and now i decided that the deal was good enough.
Candy Apple Red with black lanyard and TIR optic. I've been lusting after one of these beauties for quite a while. This helps ease the pain somewhat for my Roche F12 being late on the delivery front. Alas, it has been one month since I ordered it.

Xiware seems to be a nice light , and I'm hoping it will be the quality that I expect. Looking at taobao they go for about 60bucks, and that's in China, so I'm going it to be a nice light. Has an R2. Ramping mode etc. from DD for $21.
501a body for my UB drop in. And holster for any light that will fit it!
I have a small feeling that xiware has something to do with xtar.
Dd also has a XML light of this xiware on sale, with ramping etc. seems like a nice light but even on sale still $35
