What is your preferred method of payment for buying from "Want to Sell" on BLF?

I’ve been using PayPal forever, but I’m looking for another option for selling stuff here on BLF.

What other services do you prefer for such transactions?

I prefer PayPal F&F. But, I’ve used Venmo in the past as well.

Paypal F&F is the best. If they are not comfortable with that, Paypal Goods and Services, but they have to pay the extra fee and I require a signature upon delivery. It protects both buyer and seller. A common scam is the buyer pays with Paypal Goods and Services and then claims the light never showed up. Paypal always sides with the buyer, and then the seller is out both the money and the light.

Many people aren’t willing to take the time to do a USPS trace or file a fraud report. If a particular address gets enough flags for fraud, USPS will eventually get off their butts and look into it. If it is true that mail or other fraud has occurred, the recipient could be looking at real jail time, and might even catch a felony.

I’m not sure if UPS or FEDEX can initiate anything, but report any and all fraudulent activity possible.

If I’m the seller, I always request payment through goods and services in the off chance that I randomly become indisposed. Chance of death is 100%, with imminent/sudden and impending death at a distant second…in my opinion, the legitimate buyers should always have some recourse, even in the event of unintentional incidents.

Maybe too philosophically digressive for a simple “how do you pay” thread, lol…
