How do you like the 219F 1800K? I put one in my Astrolux A01 and it seems like a great LED! I haven’t tried the 1800K 519A yet.
I had dedomed 2700K 519A in it before, until one randomly died. The 1800K 219F is much better suited to what I use this light for. It’s warmer than the 519A DD and less pink/peachy.
The tint seems good, not green/yellow like 219B 3000K or SST-20 2700K. Maybe a tiny bit more rosy than FFL351A 1800K, but it’s not much of a difference. I prefer the 219F actually. it has a cleaner beam somehow if that makes sense. it looks very similar to candlelight, if a tiny bit warmer.
I like this emitter quite a bit actually. I didn’t learn of the 1800K 519A until a while after I bought these 219s from Simon. I can’t really comment on the CRI vs the FFL351A 1800K, they don’t look all that different. In my opinion CRI doesn’t really matter in this low of CCT, cause it’ll wash out cool colors regardless.
I will get some of the 1800K 519As to try out eventually, probably I’ll dedome one to see what happens. I don’t think you can dedome 219F like the 519A even though they appear similar.

Agreed with you on this! I think the 1800K 219F compares very nicely with my 1850K E17As, which are supposedly high CRI. To me tint matters more with these lower CCT LEDs with my preference being slightly rosy.
In regards to the tint of your 3000K 219B, it will depend on which bin you get. Mine are D180 which are slightly rosy. I see Simon sells the D200 version.
It’s pretty beat up and dented, and it’s definitely one of my favorite lights, but if I ever have to get rid of it I’ll keep that in mind.
I only wish to swap the emitters in it. FA3 or FA4 SST-20 4000K, but they were still green enough to warrant using Lees 1/4 minus green. with 10507 it’s my throwiest FW3x.
The reason I haven’t attempted a swap is because I wouldn’t be able to resolder the aux board, and I’d have to replace it with a much dimmer D3AA one. maybe a resistor swap could fix that problem though. I believe they are the exact same RGB LEDs.
I’d really love to get more of those deep carry clips, but I haven’t even found them anywhere.

All in my pockets. That’s just a fraction of the EDC stuff in my pockets. My pockets have been full of stuff for decades- WAY before the term “EDC” was ever even invented. I fully live by the mantras “Two is one and one is none.” and “I’d rather have it with me and not need it vs. need it and not have it with me.”

I am liking that white. I have a white D1K without internals (I want to do AUX+TIR (PM’d)) I’m just not sure on an emitter. it’ll be getting the new Lume X1 driver though. I’ll also get an RGB or warm/cool white switch for it.
What knife is that, Kizer right? there’s so many of what I call “bugout clones” around now I can’t keep up with all of them. really that one looks more like the Kershaw Bel Air in the blade shape, I got one of those in the mail currently. That knife looks quite good I think.

It’s a Kizer Task. And it’s great! I wouldn’t recommend the white, though. It’s getting dirty very easily. And I never handle it when my hands are dirty. Just it being in my pocket is enough
However, I can recommend the knife enough. It’s very slicey nitro-v, the action is smooth, is looks great, and it fits in my larger hands very nicely. Just get it in a different color.
