What type of driver is this? (SRK clone) any mods?

Hi all,

as per title title just wondering what type of driver this is (from my SRK clone) and if there is any mods that could be done to it?

Would I be correct in saying it is DD fet driver? it’s from the 7 led variant and only has high/low mode, I am looking to replace it with one the mtn drivers so I get more modes but was just wondering in the mean time if there was anything that could be done to it.

Looking at those r130 resister I would say it is not a fet driver. Possible mods would be stacking additional resistors on top of the current r130’s, that would increase the current.

For me it looks like direct drive, current is limited by those R10-13 and FET of course. So if you want just DD - bypass R10-13 (anyway these resistors only waste\dissipate power).
In fact the PCB seems to be initially done for step-down driver, but in this configuration (without choke, step-down controller and feedback from resistors) - it is just DD with mode control and limited power.
