What would you do hypothetically ?

Just hypothetically thinking ahead of time, I’m trying to figure out how best to mod my 4D maglite clone.

Assuming we live in a perfect world and everything fits hunky dorey and you had this driver running at 5 amps on a (3S1P) configuration

Would you

A. use 1x MGT-2
B. use 3x XM-L U3
C. something else
D. give it up as a stupid idea and throw it in the bin

Would like to see what you knowledgeable chaps think

5 amps would be a bit much for a MT-G2, but I'd say drop the current to 3 amps and run the MT-G2! :D

Thank you scaru, I had already kind of convinced myself to use the MTG-2 but the 6v vf kinda threw me off a bit
