I got my Lighthound AA U2 / Balder HD-1!

Well all the way back on 10/8/12 I created a post asking if anyone had heard of the Lighthound AA U2 light and the unanimous response I got was that it looked exactly like the Balder HD-1. I decided to order it the following day (10/9/12) and I received it today just 3 days later! This is how it arrived to me, [image] And once I flipped it over I had my answer haha! Got my solarforce order today $100 usd worth.
Arrived in a paper bag with two large tears in it that you could put your hand in and take stuff out. By some shear miracle nothing was missing even the lanyard ring which was loose in the parcel. You would think a piece of bubble wrap or bag would be used just in case.

Thanks for the shots! Distance from wall? If you get a chance, what kind of useful throw does it have?

Just from the beam shots, it looks like the smaller reflector is giving less spill and a bigger hotspot. But if you’ve got another XPG for comparison that would be nice, too.

I’ve got an XPG-R5 in a P60 that I like - been wondering if the smaller reflector works as well and if the XPG2 increases throw much.

Distance is about 2 meters. Has slightly larger spill than XinTD C8. Hot spot is about 2x diameter.

Yeah not much brighter if any... G10 /w 14500 is driven like crazy, and light gets hot very quickly.

Yesterday I got my TK35 clone form Manafont. First bad light I have got from them. Looks like somebody didn’t look the light over like I ask them to. The inside of the top of tube looks like someone hit it with a hand grinder. The outside had some nicks on the head as well. And I told them to send me a light nick free. So much for Manfont being the good company I thought they were.

I did get my other Small Sun ZY- T08 today. It’s brighter than the first one.
