What you got today

That is so true!!

They are some of the best looking 18650 lights I have seen.

ezarc , you should definitely get one of these .

Small , excellent machining , great knurling , nice beam profile and a neat UI .

I don’t have any 18650 batteries or chargers left, I gave them all away on here.

But for $16 I don’t know how anyone else can pass that one up.

I got an l2m, l2n, a solarforce lantern, l2t head, 2 18650 extensions, 8 rcr123, 4 18650, xpg 3 mode and single both low voltage, xmlu2 5 mode, belt clip and a few dropin cases. Lots to add to my 4 l2ps and mpp1 and m3.

Still waiting on a dx and itl outdoor packages, o rings a new gun mount nitecore headband and some tailcaps.

Next ill have to get a non p60 lego light. Addicted.

"Addicted" - You don't say! :) Wow!

+1

I really love mine. That light deserves a full review. If only I wouldn't be so busy..

I ordered one of these yesterday. Looks like a winner for $16.

So I actually received these yesterday, but was too busy playing to post anything here.
Ordered from Fasttech 1/1/2013 - Received 1/14/2013 I don’t have a lot of experience with shipping from china, but this is the fastest so far! On to the list;

Akoray K-106
Came in good working order. square cut threads on head and tail (bone dry on the tail end, no biggie), knurling looks good, anodizing was flawless, all in all a pretty cool light for ~$10
NiteCore I2
I don’t know much about chargers, but this one seemed ok. Charged my new 14500’s to 4.2v and nothing blew up so that’s a good sign, right?
Trustfire 3.7v 900mAh 14500 Protected x2
Delivered at 3.82v on both cells. They are blue…
Keychain flashlight
small fixed blade knife with sheath

all in all, not a bad haul for $38 shipped IMO. Starting to kick myself for getting the I2 instead of the I4… only $2-3 difference in price and im starting to think I might need the extra slots for that TandyFire SRK I’ve got my eye on….

With all that said, I’m very grateful I stumbled onto this forum and look forward to learning more from everyone here.

Excellent 8)
Very nice thought, I also remember using those low-low´s a couple of years ago and they ARE handy in that use 8)

Picked up this over the weekend. Mint ’96 Pajero t-diesel. This thing should run forever.

Raise it a couple inches? New HIDs? Put some new big-O-mud tires? I have already pick out the perfect spot where the EDC18650 will live, right next to the centre console.

changed the green rubber boot in a blink of an eye

I got my first FastTech order yesterday! A bunch of batteries, and various DIY parts.
Customs got curious on this one, probably because of the weight.

Inside:

- 10 Sanyo ZT 2800’s , my first brand name cells, working great!

- 12 ‘Enelong’ AAA’s which seem to work quite well. Might not be quite Eneloop quality, but Ok for $4.50/pack

- Four SpiderFire 16340’s which are total crap. capacities tested out at 462, 356, 122, and 15 mAh! Avoid these!

  • Glass lenses, a nice AA driver , and a couple of TIR’s for playing around with

Fasttech needs to package the glass lenses better:

    Ordered 12/27, shipped 01/02 (postdate says 01/05), received 01/14.

I also got my 501B from TMart today! Not a bad light. 5 mode memory driver (DD on high), solid brass pill, emitter well mounted, I like the gloss ano, decent machining, OK but dry threads, needs lube, good o-rings. This light has a good balance between flood and throw for it’s size. I swapped the driver for an AK-47A with 5x7135’s. I wasn’t comfortable with the heat dissipation. Not the best contact between drop-in and host. Also had a wierd spacer between battery and drop-in, only a raised tab battery would make some contact. I removed it and let the battery sit on the spring; works great!

Ordered 12/28, shipped 01/01, received 01/15.

Got a spare driver for the DRY today

Mine came in the mail today as well. You’re right. I have not seen that type of spacer before. Mine doesn’t even make contact with the positive pole of the battery. Popped it out and now able to fit a protected sized battery now. Can’t go wrong with $8 torch.

My order from Wallbuys arrived today. Perfect UF-T20 (much smaller than expected) and a black Xeno E03 XM-L. Nice lights!

XM-L2 U2 + 2 pcb’s from Illumination supply

i got Thrunite TN31 from KumaBear
