Two of my Convoy’s have the Biscotti driver. The C8 and the BD06. I have them both programmed to 0.1, 1, 10, 35, 100% with mode memory. I found it a royal pain in the ass to get the 10 fast clicks right to get into the programming mode. I set them once, and that’s it.
I haven’t found the speed of the Biscotti UI to be a problem, in fact I really liked its tempo. I guess it is as mhanlen said in his review of the clear C8: “if you play video games, you should be good”. And given I used to play a fighting game with ten-blow combos as my favourite gimmick… lol 
What is the difference between the mateminco and the astrolux K01? they sure look identical… just got my second in yesterday. BG is sending out drivers and boards for illumination.
I used to play video games when they were simple like Missle Command, Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Centipede, etc. Now I’m showing my age! BTW, I just turned 65 a few days ago. Maybe that’s it, the age thing!
An Astrolux K01cu came in the mail today. Nice light, I like the modes on the A6 so I’m going to like using the K01s modes, and man, is this light heavy! You could practically kill a man with this thing!
I wish the switch were lighted, but the switch circuit board just needs to be populated, so I guess I’m ordering some SMD LEDs and resistors.

Jack, my family has a long life history except for my mom who was a heavy smoker and died at the young age of 70. My dad, who was a smoker as well, lived till he was 86. Thankfully I’ve never smoked cigarettes. I’ve been successful in keeping myself healthy, and at 65, I have no health issues. Hopefully, I’ll live as long as my uncle who’s still alive at 95.

BTW, I forgot to mention, my dad was 12 years older than my mother, She died in 1997, and he in 2001. I think about them all the time.
I like to order Fenix. Maybe this week I will purchase one as a present to myself, plus I really looking for a new flashligh on my drawer.

Worm was on flashsale on GB and I also had some points so I paid $ 6.02-I'm very happy with it so far.
