What you got today

Is that a power tool or hand tool? It sounds useful if you were able to do the flashlight barrel with it.

It’s a device, similar to what is used to hone a cylinder block, you can put on a powertool, or use it with a (hand)wrench.

These things have six blades that you can adjust. I use a handwrench, and add only minute increments.
If you work too fast, there is a risk the reamer will bite into the bore and cause serious damage.
It takes some elbow-grease, and a few blisters, but it works.

So far, I’ve enlarged this Peli M6 and a Surfire 6P from 2 * CR123A to 18650.
A Jetbeam RRT-0 and a Lumapower D-mini from 1 * CR123A to 18350.
And a Warsun CT9T from 18650 to 21700.

Tip: before you start, measure the outside diameter of the light careful, it’s not a Tardis

I got good news today.

I did a sleep study the night before last, and today I was told that I have moderate sleep apnea.
This is excellent news because now my insurance will pay for a new CPAP machine and mask.
For my last sleep study, about 11–12 years ago, I was told that I don’t have sleep apnea.
I don’t think I got any sleep at all for my previous sleep study, and I think the results were incorrect.
I had to buy a CPAP machine with my own money 11–12 years ago. :money_with_wings:
The sleep study that I did the night before last was an at home test.
I think I got a few hours of sleep.
It was much more comfortable than my previous sleep studies, which were not at home tests.
I do have a lot of trouble sleeping without my CPAP machine, and for my sleep studies, I have to sleep without my CPAP machine.

Today I got pizza from one of the most exclusive pizza places in my town. Dude makes 10/week, only on Sunday and out of his home. It was easily a top 3 pizza! (And I’ve eaten a lot of pizza!)

Gunny Glide is much better, but hard to find now

That little duck knife is cute, where did you pick that up?

Got this cheap floody light from Amazon. There was one in the box o lights pass around that I liked. Buy had already reached my limit. So I decided to pick one up. It’s actually a decent light with a very basic driver. High/low/double click for strobe/off. That’s it.

But it takes 4x18650’s for power!

Rovyvon A8 G4 - main is a Nichia 219C 5000K 90 CRI, side lights : UV, white, red.

It’s replacing my trusty Nitecore Tini stainless steel- which is still working after around 10 years. It’s unkillable. The lack of a proper lockout (and it turning on in my pocket) was getting far too annoying.

I’ll be extremely happy surprised if the Rovyvon lasts that long. Already the USB C cover has come off the connector once in my pocket.

Cyansky Vanguard which I won on GAW on BLF forum

TD07 is pretty nice, once you figure out the UI. (Hint: everything can be done with taps instead of full clicks. Only use full click to turn off)

What is that thing?

These bills, man. These bills.

Looks like it’ll have a magnet
