My TomTop clone has a hollow pill as well. But it also has the best performing driver of all my SK68 clones. Gonna fill it in at some point.

A SST-90!?! That sounds pointless considering it would still only be driven at around 2 amps... Or if you made it direct drive off a IMR 14500. :D

Holy Sheet! That thing is bright. :smiley: It all checks out though, the die shape is right for a SST-90 and by the camera adjustments it must actually be one. I am shocked.

I bought one of these from Amazon about a month ago - there was a small thread on it. I received it quickly enough and it’s as bright as my others…but…it has a hollow pill. I’d pay a little more and get one from a known good vendor. I also have a Sipik branded version that I got from Focalprice - nice quality, but I modded it with a three mode driver and an XM-L :stuck_out_tongue:

I also bought the unbranded one from BBQbuy via Amazon, and an UltraOK from vickico on ebay. Kept the Amazon light, gave away the UltraOK because it wasn’t as bright on NiMHs or 14500. The UltraOK was a very tight zoom, the Amazon light is fairly loose. Didn’t pull either pill as they both ran fine on the TF flame.

Many have said it’s a lottery on what you’ll get regardless of where you buy it.
