Where to buy MOSFET's?

Where do you guys buy your MOSFET’s from? I’m trying to get hold of some SIR800dp-t1-ge3’s or SIR404dp-t1-ge3’s delivered to the UK. Mtn,digikey and mouser are really expensive for shipping from the US.
Are there any other distributors that are cheaper on shipping to this end of the pond?
Another option is an alternative MOSFET that is equal to these two if anyone has any suggestions?

I get all my Mosfets from ebay or Aliexpress. i.e.:
PSMN3R0-30

SIR800dp-t1-ge3 used to be on AE but disappeared around 11/11 last year (all those items in my wishlist “greyed out”).

You used to be able to get the Sir800dp from Farnell UK but they discontinued selling them too.

How does the PSMN340-30 compare?

I need a decent MOSFET for the Texas Avenger driver for the Convoy L6

I put FETs onto different drivers and run them with various emitters; therefore my setup isn’t ideal for testing different FETs in a comparable scenario, unfortunately.

The PSMN3R0-30 does about 4.5-5.5 amps on a direct drive board (wrights DD driver), XML2 U4, 30Q. (Host ThorFire)

Tried Farnell UK? Don’t know how it is for you, but here in Sweden I order through a middle man to get shipping costs down. Ordering within UK should be better.

Here are two MOSFETs I have used:

But lately I get the 800DPs from Mountain Electronics while buying other stuff. I don’t find their shipping costs crazy expensive like DigiKey.

Ordered some for you :+1:

Thanks for doing that my friend :+1:

I’ve piggybacked my order with CRX’s order, :+1: to CRX.

I’ll check those other FET’s out on farnell, thanks Mike.

I also looked at some MOSFETs this one might be a good alternative to the more expensive SIR404

any problems I do not see in the datasheet
its response to low Gate voltage looks good, as well as the other specs are good

That NXP does look good. Just checked on Arrow and it shows no stock, high min qty.

Just ordered a couple of SIRA00DP's from Arrow - little pricey but specs are also very good. Think even lower resistance than that NXP.
