Which AA Has Longest Throw?

Sadly the op hasn’t posted back with any details….

My vote would be a D size Maglite running 2AA adapters.

43,000cd and almost 700 lumens. Oh and 12 AA’s with 2AA adapters

Sweet!!!
18.879 in. long and 50 oz. with batteries. It would also double as fantastic club………

Don’t mind if I do. And thank you kindly.

EA45s for $36.59 with EA45SDEAL code. Here

AMEN!!!
Got one yesterday (thanks ’arow55’) as a backup to the one I’ve already got. This one will stay in the truck. :+1:
Best deal I have ever gotten on a Nitecore……
And I love this model.

I’ve never used one but from a number of posts I’ve seen the Astolux S3 is meant to be a good thrower

I don't think it uses AA

Is it only 14500 …. I thought I saw somewhere it took both but I could well be wrong

Li-ion only. Uses Fet (direct drive) and 7135 (linear) driver. AA will require a boost driver.

This one, http://www.eagletac.com/html/gx30a3d/index.html… throws 492 yards.

Thanks for the link… that is an interesting looking little light.

Didnt see anyone mention the Crelant V4A. Available in cw and nw. Pretty cheap after the gb coupon code. Recently got the Nitecore mentioned in this thread and i really like the size and shape. Good glove box light.

Cool little light. Attractive looking too. A bit pricy though

I do not recommend this light. Great build quality, but absolutely horrendous UI.

Imma agree with teacher on this one. Ea45 is one of the best lights I have. And its not lithium. It gets plenty of use. Also my tn4a cw does as well. Even being cw its not very cool. But thrunite is known for that. I’d recommend either one of those two. I would buy another ea45 any day. I won’t be surprised if nitecore releases a new version next year. I even holster wear it at times. Great aa light all around.
