Which deceased rock star would have evolved the most had he/she lived?

Of all the great rock performers whom have come to an untimely end, which of them do you believe would have had the greatest impact on the rock and roll genre had they lived and continued their craft?

I gotta go with Jimi Hendrix. I think he would have continued his venture into the blues and would have become a blues artist beyond what we might have ever imagined. JMO

Perhaps Kurt Cobain.
He was only 27 years old when he offed himself, and I’m thinking he would have evolved a lot given the opportunity to live a full life.
(He’d have to get off the hard drugs, of course.)
I admit I’m biased, though, because I used to be a big fan of alternative rock music, and Kurt kinda led that movement. :notes:

I’m going to have to pick the man who had already gotten his demons under control. A man who is hands down the absolute best to ever wield an axe. Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Hendrix in the age of synths and pedalboards would’ve melted actual faces, and probably a few amps

Im 41, so from my generation male would be Kurt Cobain, hands down. For women, I thought about it a bit. Probably go with Amy Winehouse?

It’s the geniuses like her, Jim Morrison, Hendrix, Kobain that had to quiet their unruly minds with drink and drugs who would have gone on to become hugely influential, and probably spiritual heroes.
