Which movie did you watch lastֻ

DO NOT WATCH IF YOU ARE EASILY DISTURBED.

Any of those available with en subs? Look intriguing…

WHEN JOHN WICK 3 !!!

Him or the rest of us?

3 is better than 2 and some of it is easily as good as #1

Can’t wait for #4!

I’m sure there should be many language subtitles available. Derrick was also popular in China in the 80s I think. I asked if they could add English subtitles to the streams. We will see if they manage it.

the weather has been too nice to stay inside.
even the Planets have put on a good show at night.
however, after Christmas, the weather will change.
i will have to “catch up” with all the recommendations.

Merry Christmas and
a Happier New Year

The World Made Straight

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

1. sort of like a Marx Brothers movie with better songs.
2. sort of like a Shakespeare comedy which i can understand.
3. sort of like a Mel Brooks movie without Nazis.

regardless, endless entertainment from start to finish.

Kieslowski's trilogy on France's national motto: Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity.

Three movies called Red ...White ... and Blue .

Of the three I've always liked White best .

Three Colors: Red (1994) - IMDb

Three Colors: White (1994) - IMDb

Three Colors: Blue (1993) - IMDb

.

Grrrr. I got ’em all, but never watched ’em.

Beijing Bicycle (2001) - IMDb

I'm not sure if I've ever watched the original bicycle thief ...but remembered liking this film / loosely based Chinese version .

Swimming Pool (2003) - IMDb

This one will keep your attention ... worth a watch

Midnight Sky.

reminds me of Castaway.

1. one character carries the story
and uses the Package (information)
to save (humanity) his life.
2. Iris serves the same as Wilson.
3. Sully is kind of Kelly.

“She’s out of my league”
very funny movie.

The Terminal followed by Cast away. Both were good, although basically anything Tom Hanks is in usually is.

I have a bunch of movie reviews to post.

(My internet was down for a week straight.)

I saw Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982).

Part 3 is even worse than Part 2.

It's like the filmmakers didn't even try (for most of the movie) compared to the excellent Part 1, and compared to the mostly crappy Part 2.

The plot and the acting are worse in Part 3 than in Part 2.

Most of the violence is not done very well.

The movie is pretty boring, until the ending sequence.

The ending sequence is pretty good, but the rest is terrible.

I saw Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter (1984).

The beginning of the movie has a brief, but decent, recap of the previous Parts.

The recap is a nice touch.

Part 4 is loads better than Part 3, and much better than Part 2.

The violence in this film is actually done much better than in the prequels.

The acting is still fairly bad, but the movie isn't too slow for me.

It seems like Part 4 has a bigger budget, not to mention a lot more skin.

Plus, just like the prequels, the ending sequence is the best part, and is quite entertaining.

If you liked Part 1, I say skip Parts 2 and 3, and check out Part 4.

Part 4 isn't as good as Part 1, but it's a worthy sequel.

I saw Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning (1985).

This movie is bad.

The acting is horrible, the script is lame, and most of the music isn't very good either.

The violence is mostly off-screen, which is a huge step backwards for the series.

(Usually you just see the aftermath of the violence in Part 5.)

Part 5 is better than Part 3, but worse than Part 2, and Part 2 wasn't all that great.

The "ending sequence" of Part 5 is somewhat entertaining, but definintely sub-par for the series.

There is a scene after the big "ending sequence" that isn't all that great.

I say skip this movie.
