Which movie did you watch lastֻ

Just saw Soul (2020) I’d been putting it off because I’m not that fond of Jazz, although several people had told me it was very good. Now I feel like Fred Savage in The Princess Bride, complaining about it having too much kissing.

This is a good movie. I’d say not quite as good as Inside Out (2015) but it’s good.

Thinner.
another Stephen King book
made into another bad movie.
yes, there have been good ones.
this one is not one of them.

1. hope you do not like Strawberry Pie.
2. spoiler: the “bad guy” wins in the end.
3. “White Man from Town says Take It Off”.

I saw A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987).

This movie is okay.

It has pretty good acting, and good music.

The movie is about as entertaining as Part 1, but less frustrating to watch.

Some of the special effects don't hold up very well, but the movie was released in 1987.

It's a worthy sequel that may even surpass the original.

The Little Things

Decent, but a little slow.

The Big Short.

spoilers:

  1. the Shorts Win.
  2. they have to explain most of it.
  3. and…i still did not understand most of it.

.
Same here :open_mouth:
Those greedy bastards make me ill, just awful truth. And I could not keep up near the end. :person_facepalming:
.

“A Bridge too Far”
.
Afterwards I looked at several Youtube vids on its history.
.
Terrible decisions made on that one, to even attempt it was the biggest.
.

The star power certainly wasn’t lacking in the production.

I saw A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988).

It's bad.

Most of the movie is pretty boring and not entertaining.

There is an action sequence near the end of the movie that is quite lame.

Someone is defeated in the movie, and the way they are defeated is really stupid.

On the other hand, the music is actually pretty good.

Overall, I think this film is as bad as Part 2, which is not a compliment in the least.

The Brave One

had potential, but here is the
street definition of potential:
Never Done Nothing.

1. Jodie Foster in love with a guy?
2. she bought a 9mm Kahr for $1K in 2007.
3. like most movies: boys die, girls live.

since it was lousy weather (rain/sleet/snow/repeat)
we stayed inside and watched absolutely all of it.
of course, we got bored before Jodie gets out of the hospital,
and i got on Craig’s List and bought some silver dimes. i heard a rumor.

The Little Things with Denzel, Rami and Jared.

A puzzler, but worth the freebi.

Chris

The Harder They Fall.

last Bogart movie.
i saw the “soft” ending.
you will not miss much if you do not watch it.

I saw A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989).

This movie is terrible.

It's pretty lame and boring.

The acting is awful, and the film is frustrating to watch in some parts.

I did not care for the safety of the main characters, which is a bad sign.

The ending is bad as well.

Part 5 is the worst film in the series (up to Part 5.)

Beat the Devil.

1. another Bogart movie.
2. do not waste your time.
3. unless you like Gina Lollobrigida.

Muscle shoals. A documentary about the recording industry in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Incredible story.

I saw Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991), which I will call Part 6.

This movie is not that great.

It's about as good as Part 2 or Part 4.

The acting is bad.

The movie is mostly boring and lame.

During the credits, the filmmakers show clips from the franchise up to this point, and sadly, it is not that impressive.

“1917”. It’s a quality movie, good suspense. Only thing is, the ending wasn’t as happy as I’d have liked.

Just watched avengers endgame.

AlphaGo

Cool AI vs human documentary. Recommended.

Hey RC
I don’t remember how many Nightmares (and spin offs) there were but after the first few it was all pretty lame until Wes Craven’s New Nightmare in 1994. The premise was the real actors and crew vs. you know who. I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll leave it at that. Hope you enjoy it!

PS the remake had more current SFX but that’s about it, no style etc.
