Don’t touch them!
I'll just quote myself and point at the second like for the question about Trustfire..
I have a couple Trustfire Flames RCR123a (16340) and the low voltage protection clicked in after hardly any runtime on medium, indicating capacity level far below stated.
Does anyone have info on the dimensions of AWs rcr123a?
I can’t find it anywhere?
EDIT: found it
AW RCR123a: 16.62mm ( diameter ) X 34.29mm ( length ) - +/- 0.1mm

Why not sanyo 16650 and put all the dual battery issue to bed ?
intenational outdoor or fastech .. protected isn't an issue if there is only one cell
and it's a sanyo ...whats not to love
i'd also be all over efast Lmrs instead of hunting down expensive AW cells ..i'd take two for the price of one anyday and lose 5%??maybe ??
I don't know anyone running LifepO4... no one !
it's LMR and LCR not imr or icr ..
Again... no one running lifepO4at all has got to make you think it's a bad idea
What do i use ?? both lmr and lcr < those are L's (hence the confusion)
Right I meant Lxx in my first post
I’m looking for a good lifepO4 RCR123a because the flashlight I’m looking at looses its medium function with the LMR/LCR (direct drive) and the LFR wont. I understand LFR will run at lower voltage and thus lower Lumens and will have a lower capacity, but I might want the option of having a medium setting with an rcr123a. I was also told the LMR might run to high of an amperage and could run the risk of damaging the flashlight i’m looking at. Any thoughts?
Also the flashlight I am looking at is a single cr123a - EagleTac d25c
