Distinction of reds (especially) and greens are important.
Thanks for the link.
Yeh, I thought it was fascinating. The sensitivity to the reds, eg, R9 response of high-CRI LEDs like Nichias, etc.
I know firsthand the difference how a regular 4C binned LED makes my skin look yellow, but under a 219B it’s a nice rosy pink!
I think people ho like cool white tint shold visit eye doctor. Probably they see in black and white only.
Tint snobbery: It’s what separates us from the animals.
Off topic: am I the only one who can’t stop myself from reading Lightbringer’s posts in a whiny, rebellious, John Bender voice?
I’m tryin’ out for a schola-sheeep…
Hey, I got most of that movie’s dialogue memorised.

Why is that not at all surprising?

Hey, John Hughes was an artist. Each one of the characters just reflects various facets of our inner being, our personalities. In some ways, we’re the rebel, in others, the queen bee, in others, the brain, the jock, the basket-case, etc.
The way each one deals with adversity (the evil/sadistic teacher, the overlord) is reflected in the movie, too.
The line I felt hit hardest, and should be a warning to all, is:
Richard Vernon: You think about this: when you get old, these kids - when I get old - they’re going to be running the country.
Carl: Yeah.
Richard Vernon: Now this is the thought that wakes me up in the middle of the night. That when I get older, these kids are going to take care of me.
Carl: I wouldn’t count on it.
Nailed it!
