Since I still was a bit perplexed, I reread Mouser’s tech sheet on the SBT-70 and picked up on this gem, which conveniently was overlooked by the rest of you guys… to wit:
“This has now been resolved with the round LED breakthrough that will enable users to replace the 300W Xenon lamp in an application like endoscopy.”
Not sure I was aware of the 300w of light going up my a… when I made the original appt?

In spite of olights glorious beam shots and selfbuilts usual inconclusive review, the SBT-70 seems horribly inefficient for flashlight applications. As more drivers and mod comparisons become available, it will be interesting to see how the MT-G2 compares and in which hosts they both play well in.

Ok, scaru dealt with them before, and he says they never came through. Now, I ordered on off their Auto Order in the webpage. They contacted me and said they would build it, then bill me, then they were supposed to send a request for payment to PayPal, but have not done so, and I am have language problems with them trying to figure out what I am getting exactly, because it comes with a 2x D extended and a charger. This may fall through as it did for scaru… :Sp
