WTB: Astrolux S41 or Manker E14

Hello,

Looking to buy one of the two models.
Willing to buy empty host, or completed light. Preference is warm White high CRI build.

H17f driver a big bonus. Also willing to run the light without a FET Driver.
Looking to run the light with 18650 batteries.

Please let me know if you have one you want to part with build details and asking price.

The S42 just came out with the 219c and is pretty reasonable. I have the E14 with the 219c and copper head. It is a great light for what I use it for. I may update it to the 219c some day.

Hi Bob, thanks for your reply.

The S42 is very tempting, but the electronic button switch means I wont be able to update the driver with my skill set. What appeals to me about the original version is that it is more mod friendly.

The other thing is that the S42 comes in 5000K. My BLF 348 is 5000K and I find the light much too cool in color temp for my liking…
If they made it in 4000K, I would have purchased it with little hesitation for $25.
