WTB: Red and green XP-E2 bare LEDs (GOT THEM)

5-10 pcs of each,

Europe customer here so Mouser or DigiKey or Farnel will not work unfortunately... :/

Update: thanks to Hikelite I got several red and green XP-E2 leds :D I am happy camper (for) now :D

Farnell is the to go store in Europe, seems they ship to outside EU too, Norway, Switzerland.

It helps to add WTB in the thread title. Many people will just see your thread in the list of recent threads without knowing what subforum its from. I’d throw in EU as well.

It seems to be that you need to be a company to order with Farnell (same with sr-online btw), that makes it impossible for me to order from them.

Nah no company.

I thought you were just supposed to fill in “N/A” in the company box, for Not Applicable.

ok, thanks, I will try that next time.

So would I talk for the sake of talk that you need no company? You can buy without being a company cause I do just that.

Yes, so I have understood, thanks for telling :-) . It was just that a few weeks ago I went through the order process at Farnell and got stuck somewhere, and thought it was because I am not a company. I will try it again and persevere this time !!

:)

Just to keep that in mind that final prices are higher because the VAT of your country will be added.

Actually Hikelite, prior to opening this thread I thought to contact you and check if you have them but I
figured it’s a small chance that you bought bare red and/or green XP-E2 leds.
I contacted several local electronic component distributors and we will see…

Almost forgot, I have bought a few colour xp-e2 's here recently:

http://www.domeanima.pt

It is a small portugese company, but they delivered within a week. They take Paypal and shipping within EU is under 5 euro if I remember well.

Thanks djozz, I give them a look, they have a fairly interesting offer but are also a bit on a expensive side,
5 x red + 5 x green XP-E2 and 1 x blue XP-E2 + shipping (4.75€) ends up at 53.24€ (or about US$66)
but at least they have them in stock which is great

I just placed a small order at Farnell, I got the order submitted, but a hour later I got an email that the minimum order is 50 euro's (ex. VAT) for private orders. :-(

I guess then Fartnell is out…

That’s good to know. I think about half that would be OK with me, but 50 Euros is a bit of a challenge. :frowning:
