WTB: Shiningbeam S-mini neutral white

My Shiningbeam S-mini has been my EDC for 14 years or so and it started flickering recently and I can’t make it stop, I think the driver or the LED is going, so I want to get a replacement. Tint is very important to me and this one has a very nice neutral tint with no green.

Also, if anyone has a Xeno S3A neutral white I would be interested in that too.

Thanks,
Mike

I wonder if I still have mine. The tail cap had fallen off ages ago and I was left with just the head and body. I’ll check when I get back and let you know if I still have it around.

Edit: Unfortunately, it looks like I must have gotten rid of it some time back. I really liked that light, too.

Have you tried cleaning off all the old lubrication? if not, suggest you get some isopropyl on Qtips and clean off the contact rings and threads, everywhere.

Try the light dry, with no lube, to confirm if that solved the issue. After that, only put a small amount of lube on a finger tip, and wipe onto the surface of the O ring. Do NOT flood the threads with lube.

It’s nice of you to join us, hardwood!

Yes, I cleaned the threads and contacts on the body first, took apart the switch and cleaned it up although it showed 0 ohms when on, no improvement. Can’t get the driver out of the head to check it but cleaned the head the best I could.
There is something inside the head that rattles when I shake it, I’m guessing either something got in there or a component blew.

2 Thanks

Bummer, thanks for looking.
