The tailswitches have flat metal buttons, that allow tailstanding. They are eSwitches, essentially silent.

Not the black rubber button as on the mechanical switches, which are rather LOUD and dont allow tailstanding:

fyi, the eSwitches have a small capacitor that charges up after about 1 hour, after first inserting a battery in a light that was stored empty. The switch operates all modes with normal spacing, as long as a battery is kept in the light.

This eSwitch behavior is also true for the Massdrop version, but those start on Low.

These are original Lumintop Ti Tools, that start on Medium, which imo is much more practical.
