I got my 1.8a X-Drive. There is no way it will fit into my heatsink with a 17mm contact board.
Cost me $30 shipped with the xdrive driver, 17mm contact board and spring for positive battery contact.
Need to trade for a 1.8a driver suitable for 445nm that is a 17mm driver
Really upset. Thought I would be able to wire it up, and finally use my laser tonight... but no such luck 
I have a 17mm 1.8a driver for a 445nm laser that I haven’t used yet. It is a Mohgasm 1.8A 17mm Driver. It is a shame it doesn’t fit because X-drives are the best out there.
They need heatsinking, like you see in this picture.

Its neither buck nor boost. Its linear since its a Mohgasm driver. I have a 378mA one im selling over on LPF that could be rechipped but I dont have the equipment to do so
I'm thinking about it. But may hold on to it. Want to build a few more possibly, but not sure it would be optimal. Kind of would like a red, green and violet. I'll let you know soon
So, two cells or one cell with that driver? Really worried about frying the diode. Things expensive

Yeah, not looking forward to frying the m140... Flashlights are one thing, few bucks for a new diode... This laser, $60 if I fry it
