Had no idea. Though I’ve seen those Nicron lights that have a similar design but with only 1 LED.

That’s a very interesting light. BUT. Yep, a big but… That driver is unregulated, so the output dips steadily as the battery voltage decreases.

That’s a Nope for me, and I seriously wonder why Wuben didn’t bother putting a proper driver in a light that is obviously aimed higher than the cheapy market???

Another thing that Wuben could do is to offer an alternative also on the throw side of the light, with a SFT-40 option.

But please, pretty please… Turn this into a flashlight, not into a dim-me-up “darkness will tell you the voltage” $19.99 affair…
