Pros:
Very small and lightweight (3.84 oz)
tailmagnet
battery bank function
NoPWM, low Flicker Index
White mode has adjustable Color Temperature
and adjustable Brightness from about 1 to 550 lumens,
I like the beam, it is not glaring when in line of sight in arms reach on a table, at low outputs the ridges inside the clear lens direct light mostly sideways and downward, it is very pleasant
the Tint is also very pleasant (-0.0015 on Opple 3), not greenish like my LT1s
Cons:
RGB brightness is not adjustable, there is only one moonlight brightness, the 620nm Red gives about 3 lumens
changing brightness of white output is done by holding down the button.. it would have been nice if that could have been done by turning the dial. atm turning the dial changes the color temperature
in RGB mode holding the button down does change LED Color, but turning the dial does the same thing. it would be nice if turning the dial would change RGB brightness.
Advantages of LT1s,
multiple brighter red outputs
brighter white output, and half the white LEDs can be turned off
Conclusion:
For close range such as in a tent, in a Van, at a table, in a bathroom, things at arms reach, the CL01 at 4oz is great, it takes up less space and weighs 1/3 as much as the LT1s at 12oz.
(both are 620nm Red)
