Wurkkos DL46 Review & vs TS32

Hello everyone. Here is my review on Wurkkos DL46. Thank you very much for a good place to share content. Please subscribe :pray:.

Does this have a constant current driver?

The other dl series seem to dim after a while

Can this thing hold at least 1000 lumens without dimming?

I just ordered this from Amazon and it is supposed to arrive on Friday, 25 July. Current Amazon price has a 35% discount available which makes the price almost the same as the current Wurkkos American warehouse price at Amazon’s $110.49 plus local sales tax. I will report on this when it arrives. With the claimed 1000 lumens run time of 24 hours and water resistance this should make a excellent emergency light. I also consider the very simple rotary switch user interface a plus for such use.

dannyd555222, if I interpret the video correctly it looks like the 1000 lumens output is continuous but the higher lumens outputs do step down as the light heats up. This seems to be true of ALL high output LED flashlights to prevent both user injury and damage to the light electronics and batteries. Due to weight and heat dissipation the rule of thumb sees to be that the smaller and lighter the light the lower the maximum sustainable lumens output will be.

My convoy m21e can do around 900 lumens for 1 hour and 30 minutes, I don’t think this thing can hold a 1000 lumens for 24 hours

if my rough calculation is correct I think it comes out to 8.4 hours with a 30,000 milliamp battery

it may be able to do 24 hours total but not at 1000 lumens the entire time

I have a feeling it steps down to 160-500 lumens after like 1.5 hours or something

I don’t really care about the total run time I wanna know how long can it hold 1000 lumens without stepping down

esp when the ambient temperature is not super cool. My area lately has been like 80 F the entire week

Try Reno, we have been in the high 80s to high 90s daytime recently but at least have very low humidity and it drops to circa 60 during the night. I have a lux meter so can check the output at the claimed 1000 Lumens level once the light arrives and see how fast it drops off.

Unit arrived about noon today. Charge in the battery circa 25% as received per the indicator lights when I started charging it. Very slow charge for such a large battery as hooked up to a 100 watt rated USB C charger and cable, charging seems to be at circa 9V and 1.5 A maximum so circa 15 watts per my USB voltage and current meter. A bit of a disappointment. IMO a avid diver would probably want multiple batteries for it.
