Wurkkos FC11C vs Skilhunt M200 V4 (519A 5000K) – Which One Should I Pick?

I’m currently deciding on my next 18650 flashlight. My options are the Wurkkos FC11C and the Skilhunt M200 V4, and for both I’d go with the 519A 5000K LED version. Could anyone give me some advice on which one I should choose? The Wurkkos FC11C is cheaper but a bit longer, while the Skilhunt M200 V4 costs twice as much but is shorter and lighter. I wonder if its overall build quality is significantly better than the Wurkkos.

I also read that some people reported issues with the FC11C’s USB charging port failing after some use, while the M200 V4 with the 519A LED has a problem with the magnetic charging port not being able to charge the battery to a full 100%. Does anyone have those issues?

Is the driver on the FC11C more efficient or better than the M200? I noticed it seems to sustain the high mode for a longer period.

I’d appreciate any opinions - thanks everyone!

The FC11C is constant current, which is the clear choice for me every time.

both have good drivers w no PWM

the FC11C adds a ramping UI option… not a fan of the longer shape

for M200, not a fan of the proprietary charging cable, I would buy the battery w USB-C:

(order light w no battery, then add the BL133-C separately to the cart) note the batteries Skilhunt uses are protected button tops. They are longer than UnProtected flat tops. Flat Tops work better w a convoy battery button spacer, so the battery does not lose contact if bumped.

zeroair has reviews of both lights… I would pick Skilhunt for the form factor and waterproofing

Have you experienced any drawbacks when using a magnetic charging port? I’ve seen some people say it can get scratched easily because it attracts tiny metal particles or rubs against keys or other metallic objects in the pocket.

I don’t prioritize individual batteries with built-in Type-C charging. They are indeed good and convenient, but the price is quite high - sometimes two, three, or even four times more expensive than regular 18650 cells. That’s why I prefer flashlights with built-in charging, so I can recharge the battery during multi-day trips. If the 18650 battery wears out, I can easily replace it with a cheap Samsung 30Q, which is also convenient.

What do you think about the finish of FC11C and M200 V4?

I prioritize USB-C so I dont need to use a special magnetic charging cable.

If the light has USB-C, then I dont need it in the battery. But having it in the battery instead of the light, means the light is more waterproof.

I hope you enjoy whichever you choose

M200 v4 for sure!
Wurkkos is nice and cheap but build quality on Skilhunt is amazing. And it’s way smaller than FC11

Thank you. I have a Yonii charge at home, so i usually charge my battery through Yonni charge. I only use the flashlight built in charge when i am traveling. What do you guys think about the skilhunt m200 driver efficiency?

What do you think about the skilhunt m200 driver efficiency?

the Skilhunt runs 2x longer:

charts thanks to zeroair reviews:
FC11c
M200

Not quite fair comparison. With 519A Skilhunt’s output would be around 250 lm.

Edit: Oh, ZeroAir actually has nichia version review

Also just noticed that different batteries were used 3Ah VS 3.5Ah.
With this in mind looks like efficiency of these two lights is roughly the same.

2 Thanks

As jon said it’s almost the same but the size is what counts and Skilhunt is close to Zebralight and Zebra is TINY.

THe FC11C of zeroair review is the 4000K version. I see a chart from FC11C 5000K version of 1lumen, i think 5000K is better in lumens but runtime is the same the 4000k version.

Thank all you guys for your support, i finally buy the skilhunt M200.
Today the flashlight comes to me, she is so small compact and beautiful, i am very happy with her now.

It depends on the flux bin they use, they can be the same.
