What i would really like to see is a simple, no-nonsense, efficient 18650 headlamp. Basically right angle FC11C. Perhaps with a choice of TIR or reflector if that’s practical.

I get it, people want red, people want throw+flood, but ultimately it ends up being larger, heavier, more expensive and complicated. I do not want that, something simple and functional, just like FC11C is, would be amazing.

Nice promos! And I’m in for the GAW :slight_smile:

EDIT: what I like about Wurkkos:

  1. Listens to the community;
  2. Great assortment of Anduril lights, all with AT1616 :+1: and @gchart/@thefreeman flashing pads; :+1::+1:
  3. Good quality and great prices;
  4. Excellent CS (our man @Wurkkos_Terry is the absolute best in this regard :+1::+1::+1:);

What could be done to improve, in order of importance:

  1. More efficient (ie, buck/boost) drivers;
  2. New lights (and new versions of current lights) with the AVR32DD20 MCU;
  3. More battery offers, like the ones from Vapcell (the Wurkkos-branded batteries are not bad and offer excellent value, but sometimes we need more capacity and/or CDR and end up having to buy these batteries elsewhere);

A specific new product I would like to see from Wurkkos: an Anduril version of the HD15R; it’s a great light overall but for the UI, and having Anduril in it would make it perfect.

Count me in for the giveaway, please!

Thanks for the giveaway, Wurkkos!
I’m not in this one, but I’ll play along.

Offer more emitters and tints in your flashlights, kinda like Convoy does.
My favorite emitter is the 5000K SFT70, though that emitter is not super popular.
Also, instead of offering the SST40 emitter, offer the SFT40 emitter.
It’s way better than the SST40. :+1:

4 Thanks

It is strictly better than the SST40! More output, more throw, better tint, nicer beam. Given any beam profile (even a floody one!), a SFT40 lets you get away with making the light smaller to achieve the same beam profile, which a SST40 light can only achieve by being much larger.

3 Thanks

Okay, I wasn’t sure.
I edited my post above. :slightly_smiling_face:

Some folks think there exist tradeoffs between any two pairs of emitters, but that isn’t true. It is possible for one emitter to outperform another in every department: SFT40 > SST40, 519A > LH351D, XPL-HI > XP-G3, and so on. Yet these inferior emitters continue to be used.

In any case, I fully support your proposal to offer more emitter options.

On top of this, I think it would good for Wurkkos to make the reflector production process more precise. Slightly warped/deformed reflectors are causing some throwers to not live up to their true potential–these lights are already impressive, but they can be better. Example of a visibly warped reflector (notice that the central reflector is not uniformly yellow but has rings of unlit area):

Would it be me that wins the giveaway?

I’d like to take my chances at this giveaway!

I think continuing the current trend of innovation and listening to the community is your strength. Stay your current course and people will have faith in coming back or recommending your product to family and friends.

I would say perhaps more consistency would be good. I know that gets difficult or costly but it builds confidence in the product when the flashlight feels solid or the button press has little slop or play.

I’d love to see a TS10 SG with a longer TIR. A user modded version looked incredible with the flat TIR and a longer bezel. It also gives slightly more grip for an already tiny light. If this could also have an efficient driver with AA support, I’d probably get a couple… Ah one can dream.

Just wondering, what’s in the mystery pool this year?

1 Thank

Wow, great deal prices! And thanks for the giveaway.

I think Wurkkos should develop a better way of attaching headlamps to head straps. Currently it takes too long to attach or remove the light from the strap (e.g. the style with two soft rubber holes that the headlight body goes through, sometimes requiring the tailcap to come off) . I wish it were much quicker, yet still adjustable and secure. So some kind of clamping system.

I personally would love to see a small lantern type light, but designed to hang off of say a dog leash.

I walk around with a Sofirn LT1 Mini, and I really wish it was “upside down” with the clip at the base rather than the top, and the lights inverted so it still reflects downwards. It would make it a lot nicer to walk with. Ideally like the L1TS but much lighter weight.

I could use one of the many lights you offer now with the diffuser, but I really would like an integral spot for me to put a mini carabiner on instead having to use the lanyard.

I agree.
More efficient drvers!
! LOWER cct(limited runs?)
Greater battery variety- excellent suggestion
Stock more color bodies
Almost bought hd15r but driver a little woozy and not anduril

1 Thank

The mystery pool will have ,
TS30S PRO, TS32, TS23, TD01C, HD50, TD04, TS10V2 TI-CO,HD01, TD05, HD10, TS12, TD02,FC11C
some boxes with 2 different combined

3 Thanks

I agree with all these suggestions!

(I’ve bought several convoys when I wanted to buy from you)

Really looked at ts10 max but wanted buck driver
Would’ve bought fc11c if lower cct selections were available(or those were in stock at the time i was ready to pull the lever
Body colors of some models just don’t work for me- one quickly tires of black except for most workmanlike uses. Red is good addition!
Dark green good too-keep in stock
Lantern ideas/combined with present models?
Keep coming up with more ‘out-there’ concepts!
Fastest purchase: hd10

3 Thanks

Everybody loves a mystery.

TS11 and TS30 are my most often used lights

This! The lack of NiMH support is the main reason I’m holding off on getting some of these lights. The stock TIR for TS10SG really doesn’t go well with SFT25R, and replacing that with a longer flat TIR would make the light essentially the best LED thrower in its size class. If people want flood, just offer the same light with a 519A option.

2 Thanks

I second the idea, but it would be great if it also had an 18350 option, just like FC11C. Another general headlamp improvement: good quality, ventilated head strap the is reflective for safety, and GITD so that it’s easier to find it at night and increase the fun factor.

Hello Wurkkos Team,

Thanks for the giveaway events.

What I like about Wurrkos, is that they offer great products at competitive pricing. They also listen to their customers and take their suggestion to improve their products. I also love how Wurkkos has giveaway away events basically on a weekly basis, very generous.

What I would like to see is more flashlights with regulated drivers. This will put Wurkkos at the top of the flashlight industry.
