Wurkkos HD01 Rechargable EDC Flashlight - Two Weeks in an Industrial Environment

TLDR: I have had the HD01 in my pocket for 2 weeks in an industrial manufacturing environment. The light held up great, and the rechargeable battery seems to hold up well. I throw it on my USB-C charger when I am in the office, and after lunch it’s already green stating full charge. The laser and RGB side-light is a bit of a novelty to me, although when the side-lights are on bright white it is a great 90 degree light tool. The magnetic base also works great, perfect EDC light at a budget cost.

The Wurkkos HD01 flashlight has proven to be a versatile and reliable tool, especially for those needing both a flashlight and laser in one compact device. Over the past two weeks, it has endured the rigorous demands of an industrial environment without any issues, showcasing its durability and resilience.

One of the standout features is the combination of a powerful flashlight and a precise laser, making it incredibly useful for a variety of tasks. Whether you need to illuminate a workspace or pinpoint a specific area, the Wurkkos HD01 delivers excellent performance on both fronts.

The rechargeable battery is another significant advantage, providing convenience and cost savings over time. With its long-lasting power, the flashlight remains operational for extended periods, reducing the need for frequent recharges and ensuring it’s ready when you need it.

Additionally, the RGB lights on the side of the flashlight are a neat addition. They add a fun and colorful aspect to the device, with various color options available. However, these lights serve no real practical purpose other than the bright white option, which can be handy for everyday carry (EDC) use. While the colored lights are more of a novelty, the bright white light is another useful feature for those needing a reliable EDC tool.

However, the one downside is that it tends to turn on accidentally when carried in a pocket. This can be a bit frustrating, but it’s a minor inconvenience that can be mitigated by learning how to use the lockout feature. Once you become accustomed to this, it’s easy to prevent accidental activation.

In summary, the Wurkkos HD01 flashlight is a robust and versatile tool, ideal for industrial settings and beyond. Its combination of flashlight and laser functionality, along with a rechargeable battery, makes it a reliable companion for any task. The RGB lights add a fun touch, though their practical use is limited to the bright white option for EDC purposes. Just remember to use the lockout feature to avoid any accidental switch-ons, and you’ll have a dependable flashlight that’s up to any challenge.
