I got an orange 4000k HD10 off AliExpress about four weeks ago. It’s got the flashing pads. I can’t comment on how good the 4000k LED’s are- I’m no expert scrutineer. I guess I can say that they look great to my eyes.
I have just received a HD10 ordered during the recent Wurkkos brand day, its firmware version is “0713–0–”.
(EDIT: there is no date in the version number at all. Here is a video of the version check.)
What kind of Anduril is this? Can I update this light with the 2024-04-20.wurkkos-ts10-rgbaux.hex?
Or is this the 50% FET (lowfet) variant?
Have a look at the MODELS file:
Thank you, I will update it with the 0713 version then. (EDIT: I am waiting for more info to be sure instead)
This is the first time I have seen an Anduril version with no date.
I thought you just truncated it. I guess it is a more recent build than 2024-04-20.
Got my HD10 (orange body and 6000K LEDs) delivered to my doorstep in just under 2 weeks. Thanks again @Wurkkos_Terry !
Totally busy here so no time yet for serious testing or usage, but have played a bit with it, and two things stood out:
-
Very nice beam color and tint: this is my first 6000k light, but I was expecting something along the lines of the 6500K SFT40 in my FC13 – instead, the 6000K HD10 looks much more neutral and friendlier to the eye. The tint looks much nicer too. Has anyone done actual CCT/CRI/DUV measurements of the 6000K HD10?
-
Longer throw than I was expecting, certainly more than my 4000K TS10. Not sure whether that’s due to some difference in the optics, or because its 6000K LEDs are brighter. Again, has anyone done any actual lumen/candela measurements of this light with 6000K LEDs?
I did an outdoor comparison against my 5700K 519a DD D3AA during my last night outing, and found that the 6000K HD10 actually looked superior: the more neutral light was pleasanter and I could see better and more details on nearby objects, like a spider on a wall about 3ft away looked clearer and more distinct with the HD10 than with the D3AA.
Has anyone else tested the 6000K HD10? Some googling only brought up tests and reviews, but only for the 4000K variety.
My TS10 and HD10, both 4000K, have identical beams
Thanks for your report. So, the optics are probably not the cause of the longer throw I’ve observed in my HD 10. Perhaps it’s because it’s brighter…
Looking forward to hearing from anyone having the means for actually measuring lumens and candelas on the 6000K HD 10.
Thank you for your report. I’m also interested to buy HD10 but I’m waiting for a more neutral tint 5000K. So it is nice to hear the 6000K still has a neutral tint.
You might be waiting a long time. So far Wurkkos have yet to offer 5000K CSP2323 emitters in any light, only 3000K, 4000K and 6000K.
Got it, I might get the 6000K as well then.
Sofirn has the 5000K CSP2323 in the HS42 though.
Sofirn and Wurkkos are not the same company though. According to Barry Sofirn’s owner is just the OEM for Wurkkos. Just because Sofirn has certain emitters it doesn’t mean Wurkkos has those same emitters
@Wurkkos_Terry , I don’t mean to pester, but is there any info to share about the HD10 version without USB-C charging but with a dual-fuel driver? That’s the version that fits my use case!
FWIW, my HD10 came with Anduril 0713-2023-07-29, so I think you should be safe with the latest for 0713 aka wurkkos-ts10-rgbaux (but I’d do a backup of whatever version yours came with, just in case).
I plan on upgrading mine that way as soon as I have the time (probably in the next couple of days), I will then post the result here.
Wurkkos HD10 aux lighting is too bright.
Compared to my old TS10 only red color shines at a similar level, the rest are too bright for night time. Firmware 0713-2023-07-29. Is this a hardware problem or can a firmware update fix it?
Think this is endemic to the OG version of the TS10, too. (“Too”? Same reason?)
Red was too dim, blue was too bright, orange was juuuuust right.
So I got orange.
Works nice as a quicky battery-level indicator, though. Topped off, it’s easily visible. Once I have to strain to see it, I know that the battery’s down to the mid-3s or so, and needs another hit.
HW issue, can’t change.
A nice Headband is from the Olight Perun 2 mini
Has a rubber strap over the tube
Has a head band holder with a channel for the clip!
→ no need to unmount the clip and loose it.
I bought it for my Sofirn HS10 (16340 right angle), it fits also the Wurkkos HS10 (you wear it on the side of the head).

SOLVED. I will stay away from Anduril from now.
I haven’t been following on Anduril UI update for quite some time. Does anyone know this light flashes AUX for about 4s on turn off?
Nothing mentioned on Wurkkos PDF. Is this a new mode? If so, how do I disable it?
