【Wurkkos TS26 update】TS26 Anduril version Update~

Hi BLFers,

We have been actively discussing the Anduril program and are looking forward to its constant current version. Some TS10 users have written to us inquiring about the progress of TS26, and we have not forgotten it. With the cooperation and efforts of Toykeeper, the testing is finally nearing completion. Thank you for Toykeeper’s efforts and dedication, which are respected.

Do you still interested in it? If so, please leave your voice. We will work hard to produce a batch in December this year or early January next year. The TS26(or TS26A ,A means Anduril) will use NICHIA 519A 5000K, and the appearance has not been determined yet. How about vote together. The left side is the continuation of the appearance of TS26S, and the right side is the appearance style like TS28. Which one do you like?

If there is only one color for the appearance, you would want it, black, blue, green, with color reference to HD03:

test data will update later

Definitely still interested and can’t wait to get it! I really like the body tube of the TS26, unique and comfortable. The only issue is the clip. If only it could be mounted near the tail instead of below the head.

As for the color, are those three the only options? Maybe make it in the Stone Grey MAO? Like Convoy, Acebeam or FireFlyLite are using recently (example below). If not then black or blue, though the black on the current ts26 is really nice texture

Finally a new Anduril light from Wurkkos! I was beginning to think you have forgotten about us Anduril lovers…

Here are my answers to your questions:

  • Clip: tail mounted with double-direction clip;
  • Color: black with the most abrasion-resistant anodizing you can find (I hate abraded painting);

I would also like to ask that you please:

  • produce a thrower version using a single LED plus reflector optics while still being as compact as possible (like a 21700-sized FC13);
  • please add an RGB LED to the switch, controllable by Anduril to show battery voltage etc;
  • don’t forget to provide user-accessible flashing pads;
  • keep the magnetic tailcap that comes in the non-anduril TS26;
  • ditto, keep the reverse-charging (ie powerbank) capability in its USB port;

And a couple more comments:

  • 5000K 519A LEDs are great for a flooder, but see my note above about a thrower version;
  • The constant-current driver is nice to have, but not essential in my view;
  • It’s nice to see new, interesting and cost-conscious Anduril lights reaching the market, there’s been a definite lull during the last few months and it’s great to see Wurkkos breaking it.
1 Thank

Great! Color options like the HD03 are cool, but I like the black also.

I also agree about a throwier version. The TS26S is very floody and that’s okay, but more beam distance is nice too. 5000k sft25r maybe?

I would be all over the TS26 with Anduril! Personally prefer:

  • 519A quad as pictured
  • Spiral design like the current version
  • Black if only one color, but love the MAO option, or dark blue (like FC11C)
  • I echo the desire for the lighted switch matching the RGB (like the TS11, which has an excellent switch)
1 Thank

I prefer the left one. But I’d like the clip to be removable (not sure if it is in TS26S)

Edit: my vote is for blue

I will likely buy one. I am fine with black, and the blue (especially if it is the same blue as my TS10MAX). Of course MAO would be nice, but not required for me.. I prefer the design on the right, NOT the spiral groove version.

1 Thank

They already have several lights roughly the same size as this model that uses a single LED that throws pretty far.

What’s the point of putting throwing LEDs on a quad light like this ?

Nichia 519a is a perfect LED for this light great color rendering .

I do like having a removable pocket clip and I would like to see other color choices and the run time should be improved like I asked them last time.

the light should be able to do 700 ish lumens without theming for an hour at least

1 Thank

None of them are 21700s, compact enough to carry in my belt pouch, and run Anduril (in case you don’t know me, my motto is “no Anduril, no deal” :wink:)

What’s the point of putting throwing LEDs on a quad light like this ?

Uh, just so it throws? :wink: but seriously, you might not have noticed that I mentioned changing the 4 flooding LEDs for a single throwing one, and changing the optics to a reflector.

Nichia 519a is a perfect LED for this light great color rendering .

Agreed, for a flooder. For a thrower, I’m more interested in reach than in color reproduction.

Yay! So now there’s at least two of us! @Wurkkos , you listening? :wink:

5000k sft25r maybe?

I’ve heard nice things about the SFT25R but never seen one ‘in the flesh’. Me, even a lowly/obsolete SFT40 like the one that came in my FC13 would make me happy…

sounds like a aduril version from TS28, the throwier one :grinning:

1 Thank

I like the grey Mao, too, would love to try

2 Thanks

Can’t wait!

Why try make this light something that it’s not instead of suggesting adding Anduril to other lights that already do what You want sans UI? Wurkkos already makes the TD07 or TS28, go ask for anduril in their threads :wink:

By the way, do You actually have the base version? Why not try dedoming the 519As? It’s plenty throwy for EDC tasks and starting at 5000K still not too warm after dedoming (for those few that dislike warmer light).

I would love a stainless steel bezel, the option for 5700k LEDs and no glue anywhere!
I like the spiral design of the battery tube. It’s something unusual.
Color wise, I like the blue.

For me, for this flashlight to be perfect, it would need to have:
• RGB button and RGB in the TIR lens
• Deep carry clip, the deepest carry possible and WITHOUT a two-way clip, it’s way too heavy to use on caps; a good deep carry clip on one side would be perfect, preferably the type that locks onto the tube threads
• Magnetic tailcap with the possibility of a mechanical lock
• Springs on both battery terminals
• Stainless steel bezel with no glue, threaded and easily removable
• High-CRI emitter
• Battery tube details in a spiral pattern like the TS26S (very beautiful)
• Reverse powerbank feature
• Ability to operate the flashlight almost entirely with only the USB connected and no battery
• Ability to use the flashlight fully with USB connected while also having a battery installed
• Metal button (would be an extremely amazing luxury)
• Multiple color options, especially deep blue like the FC11C and red
• Ultra low moonlight
• Pads on the PCB for firmware updates
• Raw stainless steel clip (black clips always get heavily scratched with use)

Yes this is one that is a must have… !!

Yes, the pads on the PCB does have

2 Thanks

:+1:

I’m also waiting for the Anduril TS26!

The grey MAO would be perfect, but I also really like the idea of dark blue someone posted here (the one from FC11). Other than that I don’t really like bright colours on bigger flashlights so the basic matte black one would be fine.

And the body shape on the left, classic TS26S look works the best imho.
