Not on mine they wouldnt. You can run it on a 14500 if you want a much brighter light.

No they don;t fit and with a square thread you can assume you'll never find anything that will fit .

I know they make them I have seen them sold with the E 03 but never separate.

Yes, they most certainly do exist. The trouble is finding them available separately.

On a fresh pair of Eneloops, the E15 pulls only 0.98A at the tail so its quite anemic. By contrast, most of my other 2 x AA lights pull upwards of 1.5A. I wouldnt waste my time and money with the spare E03 battery tube because the light is still quite dim on 2 x AA. Maybe consider using 14500’s instead.
