XinTD X3 or FandyFireWarrior or HD2010

I need another flashlight.

XinTD X3

HD2010

FandyFire YL-U2

Which one to choose?

Choosing between XinTD X3 and HD2010, XinTD looks like the winner.
FandyFire XML-U2 is the outsider.
But I already have a SkyRayKing and a Shadow SL3. so maybe not another multiple emitter, but it has infinite variable output.so a big +

So many lights so little money :frowning:

Have them all, the Warrior wins big time, one of my favorite lights of recent history. The other two are great but the Warrior is so much more light. Go to the wallbuys thread for a 12% discount code. If you go for the HD2010, tmart has a coupon code “d5” for $5 off $30.

Edit: don’t have that XinTD, was thinking about the C8 XinTD.

Warrior is only cool white tho. if were a bit warmer, I’d go for it without hesitation.

i only have xintd x3, haven’t used it much yet though.
aren’t the falshlights quite a bit different though? if you want flood or throw that should make the decision a bit easier?

I can say, IF, you get the x3 from ios, imo its a dammed good light. I’ve not yet received an hd2010, and the warrior doesn’t really interest me tbh, but the ios x3 is a dammed good light and worthy of a place in anyone’s arsenal.

love the warrior!!!

+1

They all have reasons why you should buy them:

- XinTD X3, AA powered, yet is bright and throws well

- HD2010, a bit of a driver lottery here, but if you get a good one, bright and one of the throwiest light you could own at stock

  • FandyFire Warrior, brightest of the lot you are looking at, good UI and provides a flood beam

I only have the XinTD X3 myself as well, and find it to be built very well. It was purchased from Int’l Outdoor.

I would if IOS did not use Singapore Post that takes at least 8 weeks to deliver parcels. 2 months is a long time to wait.

Of the three lights you've listed... I'd by both.

.

The warrior is bright and impressive but personally, I hated the PWM… Also, it’s not infinitely variable, the lowest output is something like 10%.

I have the HD2010 and the XINTD X3.

I have no interest in the Warrior, first, because it says Fandy Fire on it, and 2nd, because I don't buy multi-18650 battery lights.

The HD2010 (mine says "UltraFire", not "FandyFire" on it) was my favorite light until I got the X3.

The X3 is smaller, easier to pocket, and best of all has a Moonlight Low and NO BLINKY modes. The only thing I don't like about the 2010 is that you have to cycle past 2 blinky modes to get back to High.

I also like "neutral" lights as opposed to cool white, and the X3 can be ordered in Neutral..

The 2010 does throw farther due to its larger diameter reflector, but the X3's hot spot is so defined it almost seems to throw as far.

And I would not order the X3 from anyone but Hank at Intl-outdoors. He is a good guy and great at customer service.

It is also one of the best build-quality lights I have; I would say it rivals anything Fenix produces, at an obviously much lower price point.

You can get a Warrior with Solarstorm written on it but it will cost you $20.

You are saying it's only $20? For that light? Where?

I think he meant that the Solarstorm version of the Warrior costs a $20 premium over the identical Fandyfire version. Although for me the coolness factor of “Solarstorm” vs. “Fandyfire” is almost worth $20. :stuck_out_tongue:

Correct, Solarstorm cost $20 more than Fandyfire and the lights are identical. I don’t see why the Warrior has not taken off like the SRK, to me it’s one of the best lights around. Throws farther than a SRK, smaller and easier to carry, plenty of flood, and excellent build quality.

I’m just waiting for a neutral white XM-L2 version. In fact, BangGood was trying to source one, but the manufacturer was really flaky and never produced. So, hint hint Solarstorm!

Use BLF Code …

$32.54 at Wallbuys with coupon, neither is neutral white. Wallbuys ships these really fast, usually get them in about 2 weeks.

I have a warrior and it is an absolute steal for the price. What a ton of light for the money. Looks good, mega bright, good quality and compact.

Probably because they never built a black version. Not everyone likes gold skyray kings and metallic lights
