Hi Gang, I’m looking for a few XML2-U4’s in both 1A and 1C tints. Richard is currently out-of-stock on the 1C, so does anyone know of a US source for these? Also would be happy to purchase a couple from anyone who may have spares.
Thanks in advance.
If you can’t find a US source, I have U4 1A and 1C
Takes about 5-7 days shipping from UK
This is VOB: ebay.com/itm/Cree-XM-L2-LED-U4-1C-bin-emitter-on-20mm-16mm-or-10mm-COPPER-SinkPad
His website store: http://asflashlights.com/en/30-xm-l2
Maybe pm him.
Hey Tom, and James, thanks for the suggestions. Any other US sources come to mind?
I’m waiting on Richard to get some in stock as well… :weary:
bump
Illumn is not keeping up with LED's for sure - they used to be a primary US source for me, and many others, now all they show is old stuff.
Update and bump, received U4-1C emitters and am not crazy about the tint after hot de-dome. I am however, happy about the output. These rival the older U2-1A in lux, but do it using around 1.5a less.
Still looking for U4-1A from US source.
Noob here:
Which is warmer the 1A or the 1C? How can I compare them to a T6 in color scale?
ALSO...
I really cant find an abundance of them, even the current CREE PDF's don't list them.
Is there a full listing for them somewhere?
EDIT
I found out that there are only 2 bins, 1A/1C
Both are 6500K
1A is white(ish).
1C is green(ish).
Found this scale:
2B would be my preferance, but for now the 20% increase over the XM-L2 T6 @ 1.5A less draw will just be fine for me.....For now.
1A is 6500+K, 6500-7000K maybe. 1C is 6100-6500K.
1A and 1C are tints.
T6 is an output flux bin, not a tint.
I was not complete in my description of the resourse I have and what I wanted.
I have the CREE XM-L2 T6 3B
I prefer the 2B in tint.
The 1A will do in the U4 series for me, for now.
As for the 1C being 6-6.5K, I would rather drive the 1A less and keep it at 6.5K, or as close as possible to my Diamond Grading Light.
I found these guys. Maybe they’ll have what you need
