I have only rarely seen sellers adjusting their prices when emitters get older, they just stop selling them.
Going to run a red xre at 1.5 amps. I know that’s nothing crazy, but it is pushing the rating on those.
I even would not bother going over 1.2A, at 1.5A you are already over the maximum output of a red XR-E.
btw, if you can get your hands on a red XP-E, or even red XP-E2, you will have significant more output and more throw for the same set-up.
I usually use XP-E and XP-E2’S for most of my builds but I used recently a XP-E2 for a hs-802 build and for some reason it didn’t work well. I originally came with a XR-E that performed pretty well. For some reason the xp-e2 just not working well in it. Not sure why.
I have some if you need them. How many?
You have copper mcpcb’s? I can buy them if you could just me know where you got them from?

15* 20mm rounds: Round PCB for Cree Emitters in Frame - 15x aluminium PCB for Cree XL, XR, XR-E series
20mm star: Star PCB for Cree, Seoul and Luxeon - Usable with all common high power emitters
30* 20mm Stars: Star PCB for Cree, Seoul and Luxeon in Frame -
For 3 Emitters: MultiLine Circuit Board for 1-3x LEDs -
For 4 Emitters: MultiLine Circuit Board for 1-4x LEDs - Multifunktional and useable for RGBW!
240*10mm board: MultiLine Aluminium Circuit Board for 8 high power LEDs - Flexible mounting, shortening and extending
And yes, they ship international.
No copper. Just the typical pcb they came with in stock flashlights
Ok, I only ask because I have exhausted all of my resources, but a blank, copper mt-g, 16mm mcpcb, where can I get one? Mountain electronics only has blank 20mm and their 16mm is loaded.
Excellent, thanks. Looking back in the thread, someone had already posted that link. Oh well.
