OK, it´s not so problematic like the VC4SL but it´s not so reliable to recommend it for NiMH. It seems like Xtar can not be recommend for NiMH.
Notable, the early termination happens a lot more with AAA than AA
Tried different Power Suppies with 2A, the problem is the same
Sometimes I charged 2 AA at the outer slots with 1A. If one cell is finished some seonds later stopp the 2nd cell also before it reachs the max. voltage.
If cells are charging and another cell is inserted some seconds later the already inserted cells or some of them stop charging. So it looks also like the Xtar is over-sensitive with the delivered voltage.
However, Nitecore and Skyrc NC1500 never have this problem with a compatible power supply
