XTAR XP1

Just noticed this one, any user experience on these?

They seem to sell for about 12USD in eBay

It doesn't mention 18650 compatibility does it?

It's brand new. Released three days ago. I think no customer have it intil now.

For me, I have really no use for a charger that only charges one battery at a time. I would never use it.

Wait a few weeks - XTAR will release two more chargers (one with 2 slots, one with 4).

“It could stop charging automatically…”
Sounds reassuring

“Acme light, easy to carry”…. WTF does “acme light” mean?

You just gotta love the Chinese…

“ACME”???
in the past something from acme usually explode,if you know what i mean

Wow! Great news, any chance of more info for those?

Yeah, they´ve used a lot of “ACME” products in Looney Tunes cartoons, no batterychargers though…

Hmm, strange that they made it too short for it…
18500 only.

It's too slow for 18650's. It's perfect for 16340's and 14500's.

I hope that the name (“Hummingbird”) doesn’t connotate the sound that it makes when it’s charging :)…

I made a new thread with some information about the chargers: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/19791

Hi Xtar.
I want that charger.
Is Ebay seller Post#1 Xtar authorized dealer?

Wow how did I miss this? It has discharge, and two current levels. I wonder how easy it is to operate. It seems to only have one button.

It's good for travelling.

It'd be very good for travelling if the battery bay were reshaped slightly to fit 26650's.

It'd be great for travelling if it had a third higher charging current. Lots of people travel with 1A usb chargers to power their cell phones. A great travel charger would take advantage of that. Fwiw, people with tablets are probably going to have a 2-3.1A usb charger.

Ahh, thank you for explaining!
